Privacy Policy

This privacy policy applies to (the “Website”), owned and operated by Pictographr, Inc. This privacy policy describes how we collect and use the personal information you provide on the Website. It also describes the choices available to you regarding our use of your personal information and how you can access and update this information.  

Pictographr takes your privacy seriously. We will not sell, lease, or exchange your personal data to, or otherwise share your personal data with, third parties in ways other than described in this Privacy Policy. By using Pictographr (collectively, the “Service”) you agree to be bound by the Terms of Service and this Privacy Policy. Some capitalized terms used in this Privacy Policy and not otherwise defined may be defined in the Terms of Service. This Privacy Policy only addresses activities from our servers.


Access to  Pictographr requires an existing account from our third-party accounts service partner, Google Drive. Upon registration, Pictographr retrieve your email address, your full name and a token from the Google Drive service.  This token enables Pictographr to create folders, and store and retrieve files and rendered graphic content related to Pictographr.  Files and contents within Google Drive are governed by Google’s Privacy Policy (  Files and contents created by Pictographr is counted toward Google Drive’s overall size allocation per user, currently at 15Gb.  

Communications with Pictographr  

We use a third party service provider to assist us in managing and administering email communications through the Pictographr website. Any personal information disclosed through this provider is governed by this provider’s privacy policy. Our third party communications is managed by the third party vendor below:

Pictographr will use information collected through its Service to send out notifications regarding service related issues (such as maintenance periods, billing problems, account expirations, and other items that may impact service).  We do not send notifications unless the matter is deemed urgent, and most communication will occur through the Pictographr website.

Third Party Marketing

You can opt-in to receive messages regarding new services, products, discounts and/or promotions in your surrounding geographic area offered by our M arketing P artners,  (  Your geographic area is determined by the referral code or promotional code that was associated with your account when you initially register.  Option settings to allow or disallow us to send you promotional emails on their behalf are found under the account settings in the Pictographr website.  We do not disclose your email address or your personal information to our Marketing Partners.  All promotional messages to you are sent directly by Pictographr.

Account Subscriptions

If you choose to continue service with Pictographr via a paid account, Pictographr will collect the following personal information from you: credit card number, credit card expiration date, address information, and zip code. Pictographr then funnel this information securely through our servers to our third party payment processor in order to process your recurring invoices. Your credit card information is never stored on our servers.  Your account is referenced by a token issued by our third party payment processor.  Use of your personal information is governed by their respective privacy policies. Payments are currently processed and managed using the third party vendor below:

Server Logs

When accessing web pages on the Website, Pictographr may log your IP address, access URL, time of access, geographic location, browser type, and referral URL in order to provide us with internal information regarding site traffic statistics. This information may also be used to identify users who are using the service for spam or other activity that is deemed in conflict with Our Terms of Service. Otherwise, this information is used in the aggregate, and is never linked back to any personal information.

We may release account and other personal information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law; enforce or apply Our Terms of Service; or protect the rights, property, or safety of Pictographr, our users, or others. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organizations for fraud protection and credit risk reduction.

Social Media  

The Website provides users the opportunity to interact and post content through various social media sites. Your interactions with such tools, and any information you provide in connection with these interactions are publicly viewable outside of the Website domain. Each social media site has its own privacy policies, that may be more or less protective than this Policy. If you do not wish for this information to be disclosed, then you should not use these tools. We are not responsible for information you choose to post with such tools.  These features may collect your IP address, and may set a cookie in order to function properly.  Your interactions with these features are governed by the privacy policy of the company providing it.

Google Addon Permissions and Access  

Pictographr fully respects the privacy of User’s content designed and created with Pictographr as well as any User’s files within Google Drive used for graphic insertions into Pictographr files. Our system request certain permissions in order to facilitate the seamless integration of Pictographr for Google Docs, Google Sheets and Google Forms. Permissions for access to Users Google Drive, will allow Pictographr the read and write into folders, as well as create folders for organization of Pictographr files. Permissions to run scripts allow Pictoraphr to authenticate Users to Pictographr, as well as launch Pictographr in a new windows tab. Pictographr utilizes Google’s unique account IDs to match Users with associated Pictographr records in order to track the duration of User’s access during trial and subscription periods.

Analytics information

We may directly collect analytics data, or use third-party analytics tools, to help us measure traffic and usage trends for the Service. These tools collect information sent by your browser or mobile device, including the pages you visit and other information that assists us in improving the Service. We collect and use this analytics information in aggregate form such that it cannot reasonably be manipulated to identify any particular individual user.


We may buy or sell/divest/transfer Pictographr (including any shares in Pictographr), or any combination of its products, services, assets and/or businesses. Your information such as customer names and email addresses, and other user information related to the Service may be among the items sold or otherwise transferred in these types of transactions. We may also sell, assign or otherwise transfer such information in the course of corporate divestitures, mergers, acquisitions, bankruptcies, dissolutions, reorganisations, liquidations, similar transactions or proceedings involving all or a portion of the Pictographr.

Removing Information

To remove your personal information from our system, submit your account for deactivation. Your personal information will be removed immediately, though your actual login name will remain reserved on our system until re­collection or for future reactivation. If you wish to only remove your billing subscription information, cancel your paid account. Both of these removals can be accessed through the account settings in the Pictographr website or you can contact us at

Upon deactivating your Pictographr account, you will receive no further communication from us (service announcements included).


We and our partners, affiliates, or analytics or service providers use technologies such as cookies, beacons, tags, and scripts to analyze trends, administer the Website, tracking users’ movements around the Website, and to gather demographic information about our user base as a whole. We may receive reports based on the use of these technologies by these companies on an individual and aggregated basis. We use cookies for authentication, tracking user sessions, preferences, and movements around the website, anonymous and aggregated marketing analytics, performance analytics, retargeting, and tracking aggregate trends. Users can control the use of cookies at the individual browser level.

Changes to our Privacy Policy

Pictographr may modify or update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect the changes in our business and practices, and so you should review this page periodically. When we change the policy in a material manner we will let you know and update the ‘last modified’ date at the bottom of this agreement.
